Just a note to anyone that does or might considering making use of the eBrandon News section, aka the "Brandon News Centre."  
 
The idea behind the news tab on the site isn't to be a news source in itself, but to be a central place where folks can be directed to the many great locally relevant news sources out there on the web (a geek might call it a "news aggregator"). It's a win-win, because folks save time having to hunt through 30-40 sites and those news providers get extra views on their sites/stories.  
 
Today you'll notice that alongside the direct links to local postings on local sites, there are now automatic links via Google News to some of the current top Canada-relevant stories as well as Brandon-related stories. These are updated in real time as new stories break. It's my hope that this evolves things closer to the point where a Brandonite can find their way to stories that are relevant and interesting to them.  
 
Also worth mentioning is the addition of MyWestman.ca stories to the "Provincial" section. This includes stories from the Rivers and Neepawa newspapers along with other news bits.
