A few questions from a city girl  
 
I have about 9A that had just grass and whatever growing on it (we just bought this summer) So my hubby mowed it with a rotary mower & I go rake a section as needed (by hand) for bedding for my chickens. This isn't going to work over the winter. Now don't laugh at me 'cause I really don't know this stuff, here's my questions...  
 
is it possible to get this baled into square bales as it's been mowed with a rotary mower?

Is there an easy way to rake the field and pile it up somewhere?
