Anyone visiting eBrandon today will notice a new tab second from the right in the main menu... "Recipes"  
 
One month in the making, the section includes:  
 
- a categorized listing of recipes, broken down by food type, meal type, etc  
- a detailed search for that allows you to search by keyword, category, prep time or any combination of the three. The keyword field can be great for finding meals that have a specific ingredient.. a situation I find myself in a lot of times on days where I'm trying to clear out the fridge!  
- the ability to comment on and review recipes. If you haven't tried a given recipe, you can still comment on it. When commenting, there's a separate dropdown menu that allows you to rate *if* you have made the dish. This rating goes toward the overall total and helps us decide what Westman's favourite dishes are  
- a listing of the newest recipes as wella s the most popular  
- a listing of the top submitters  
- full member profile integration. Any time you submit or review a recipe, a link will show up on your profile.  
- to start, 101 different recipes from local people  
 
A huge thanks to everyone that's contributed both ideas and recipes to the project so far. This really has the potential to be something unique for our community as a place to share and rate the recipes and meals that WE make.  
 
To keep the ball rolling, we of course need to include more and more recipes. Anyone anywhere can now add one by clicking on the link at the top-right hand corner of the main Recipes page. We also need to get some comments and reviews on specific recipes. If you happen to already recognize one or some of them, it would be great if you could add a comment/review. I'm hoping to try one or two this weekend too.
