Fathers advocacy Group in Brandon?

Hi There. Im looking for help on finding fathers advocacy groups in Brandon and area, or anyone else who can help. I have a close family memeber getting a bad deal right now. Anyone that can help with where to find some free legal advice,groups, numbers, anything at all! For some reason police and family services only listen to one side and make their choice on that without further investigating. Why is it always the woman that get all the help they need? Why do they automatically assume that what they are being told is the truth?
Please help with any advice or anything you may be able to.
