Okay so I am sitting at work tonight, kind of bored so I am observing and taking in all I see around me (Yes I am eBrandoning at wrok lol).  
 
Now so you know, where I work we have a bench around a fountain in our lobby. Lots of people go through and use said bench daily.  
 
Now, countless times I see families come in and the parents will stand their and watch their children run around on the bench in their shoes. Some parents even stand their kids on the bench as if to say "go run around".  
 
Now this is not a stab at anybody's parenting or me judging anyone in any way. As I am only 21 years old and have no parenting experience whatsoever. Nor do I have the right to judge the parenting of somebody else. I am just simply wondering.  
 
Do you parents let your children run around on your furniture at home in their shoes?
