Why place an AD on eBrandon and NEVER answer requests for your item?

I have messeged a few people now on thier items they have for sale on eBrandon and they NEVER respond! If the item is SOLD then change your AD or at least messege me back and tell me so. Has anyone else had this problem? Its so frustrating! Especially when they don't have a phone number on the AD and say "E-mail ONLY"
