I'm excited to post that within the last few minutes I've flicked the switch on a new addition to eBrandon that brings this site one step closer to truly "Connecting Brandon."  
 
Almost a year to the day that CKX closed its doors, I've added an option to the video page for "external local video." Basically what this means is that you'll now have access to tons of regular locally-relevant video that has been shared by other folks via Youtube. This often includes clips from local music shows, sporting and other events and a general hodge-podge of videos that have been identified as being related to Brandon, Neepawa, Minnedosa, Virden, Riding Mountain/Clear Lake and Westman in general.  
 
For anyone familiar with how the news page works, this will be similar. Twice daily eBrandon will automatically check for new stuff and add what it finds.  
 
When you're on the video page, you'll now notice the option to select between video that is "member-posted" and "external local video." By default, both are combined into one list.  
 
I've also added a separate section on the front page to allow you to easily keep tabs on what new external video is available... just below the usual section that shows new video added by eBrandon members. It all depends on what's posted on any given day, but I'd generally expect new videos to show up in this space every day or two.
