It probably goes without saying, but if anyone received a private message from a "Miriam" from South Africa in the last 24 hours, please disregard and delete.
This person sent a few dozen private messages to people on the site and based on the text of the message it's almost for sure someone who will be trying to sell you something.
Just as a general rule of thumb, because of how local this site is if there's a message from someone out of country, or even out of province, they likely aren't just here to hang out.
