eBrandon adds Jobs page on Facebook

Many are likely aware that the Jobs category in the classifieds is consistently one of the more popular sections across eBrandon. The page in the classifieds that lists ads posted by employers had more than 200,000 pageviews over the last month alone without even accounting for how many times each ad was viewed.
Still I'm always on the lookout for ways to provide more value to job seekers and ways to provide more value to employers, which is why this week eBrandon added a new Facebook page that gives one more way to stay on top of new postings in the Job Opportunities category. As of this posting it seems to already be fairly popular as it approaches 400 likes in a span of a few days. Once you have that many likes it also becomes a great bit of added value for anyone that’s listed their job in the classifieds and in a world where exposure is everything, more is generally better. The Jobs category in the classifieds on eBrandon is of course the best and first way to see postings as soon as they go up, but this provides a nice little alternative to in particular share postings that might be of relevancy to you or your friends on Facebook.
As always, to post a job to the classifieds employers just need to go to https://ebrandon.ca/createad.aspx?cat_id=103
There is the same $9.95 charge per posting, or businesses can pay $99/year for unlimited postings of separate positions. With how the system is setup, your job posting goes straight up to the classifieds on eBrandon as soon as its posted. From there I’m still tweaking how jobs data is pushed to the Facebook page, but most of those jobs should also make it onto the Facebook page within the same day.
You can view the new page on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/brandonjobs
eBrandon itself of course also has a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ebrandonca that’s used to share data about the week’s popular classified ads and discussions
