We had a delivery of two large boxes (Children's Present from Costco for this weekend) dropped off at our house on Laurel Bay this today. Our neighbor seen a man and a woman walk past the house after 2 this afternoon, doubled back and picked up the boxes and walked away with them. (Neighbour assumed we left something for somebody to pick up) If anybody in the south end of town seen a man and a woman (about 35 - 40 and wearing toques) with 2 large boxes, please comment or PM me and let me know what you remember. Cash reward for anybody who can give me the address of the address the boxes walked into. We will call Costco to find out who delivered and the company to confirm the delivery as well as the police. I just wanted to start here and catch them myself. 2 missing boxes will be low priority to the cops but having somebody steal from my kids on my property during the day, that is a high priority to me.

That's just sad!! Who goes out for a walk, see some packages delivered to a persons place and goes and takes them.  
 
Just makes me want to set up a box with flour that will shoot into their face when they open the box!!!

like that makes Canada Post Flex Delivery look like a really good idea. Instead of having just dropped off where it can be stolen. Not sure if you can specify with other couriers that you want to pick it from their facility personally.

Costco is refunding our credit card and the cops were called just to notify in case others in the area had the same problem. Still interested in ANY information on these people though. I want to know who they are and out them as thieves.

that Costco is refunding you. And these people just walked off with your kids presents without knowing what's in the boxes. That is unless the boxes showed exactly what they contained.

So sad to hear this kind of garbage happening more and more.  
 
Thankfully Costco is one of the best to deal with. Next time make sure you check the option that you must sign for delivery just to be safe, we cannot trust anyone it seems.  
 
Maybe you should also post exactly the items that were stolen - just in case these low lifes try to sell the items - at least make it more difficult for them to benefit if they try.....

I didn't think a delivery company, Canada Post, Purolator or who ever, would just leave two large boxes behind without someone at home to take them. I find it very odd.

some items do not need signed for I ordered a huge art piece and it was just left on my deck. Some places do not require a signature.

Delivery companies and Canada post leave parcels at doors all the time. I had a carburetor stolen from in front of my business a few years ago. Canada post left it there and I arrived about 4 to 5 minutes later.  
 
I stopped selling Avon because the delivery company just dropped the boxes on the front step.  
 
 
 
But I Suggest that you watch the ads for your property. On all the Brandon sights that sell. and check with the pawn shops. Leave them flyers of what you are looking for.

People have had certain delivery services leave pistols + ammunition sitting on their front step. Delivery supposed to require a signature.
