Just wondering if anyone knows what the average yearly property taxes are for day a 1300 sq. ft. Home with a fenced backyard & double garage. As well the cost of quarterly water bills? The town of Wawanesa website doesn't give you much information about anything.

Property tax is based on property size not house size. You can look up the address online government of Canada and get the exact tax prices

Not sure if this helps. But we pay $60 a month added to our mortgage for property tax. And our water is about $150-$180 every 3 months .

Property tax is based on both land and building assessment, which is set by the Manitoba government.  
I would call the closest assessment office or the Town Office for information.

to find taxes on an individual home in a smaller town. Brandon you can look up what ever address you want, smaller centers don't have that same web based information.  
 
you can call the rm office oakland/wawanesa but they may not tell you what individual property taxes are due to privacy concerns. (Rm Rules), but you can ask what their mil rate is per 1000 of assessed value, ask both for education and municipal..  
 
then go take a drive and get a few specifac addresses that are of interest, then go back to your computer and look up the MB tax assessment web site, it is a bit convoluted but it works, plug in your addresses you want, it will tell you the assessment, then just multiply the mill rate the RM office gave you.  
 
with any luck they might tell you at the RM office but quite likley not.
