Im a guy and 32 yrs old. My job sometimes has sporatic (sp? lol) days off because of lack of work. Sometimes has been 4 days in a row. Well i was hoping someone could help me out with where to go to find a part time job or something that i would be able to do to fill my days off so im not missing out on so much money. Like i know it wont be a legitamate workplace job because i know you cant just show up whenever you want etc.... but like more like odd jobs when im not working. Thanks for anyones input.

what line of work do you prefer? Are you a roofer, builder, plumber, server, etc?

Well im a trucker right now, but ive been a welder, labourer for construction, ran heavy equipment, grew up farming, im not opposed to small stuff like yard work, tree clean up etc. And yes i own my own vehicle, a truck

I'm stuck in somewhat of the same situation. Had health issues for the last 2 years so i couldn't work full time. Now i am all healed up but energy level is low....can work and want to work. there are days that i am ok and days that i need to rest...but nobody will hire someone full time who might miss a day here or there...i need casual or part time with flexible hours and i cant find that. It''''s hard when you''''re sick to work, also single mom...don''''t qualify for EI or IA...so what do i do? Pray that someone with faith believes that i will work my best when i'm there and get job done even if i work from home some days...?

maybe put out an add for small labour work when you know you'll be off, problem with that is you might end up too busy when you dont want to be, i wonder if there is a temp labour company you can work with?

Harvest is upon us. I have a good sideline gig helping a grain farmer. He understands that job 1 comes first for me but he always has something going on. Treats me like gold, pays me well and when I have days to give him I just text "get the job jar out, I am coming out" and he always comes up with something. Especially if its been a good run and his main guys are getting tired I just slide into any machine giving them a rest.
