Wondering if there are any causal board gamers out there that would like to meet up at the board game cafe sometime and play different games maybe a couple times a month?

I work a pretty sporadic schedule, and busy. But would totally be ready to go sit in with a board game group.

There was a time, a year or two ago that there were monthly meetups at the library for gaming. The turnout wasn't too great, but we did have fun for the few times I was able to make it.

I wonder if we got a group of people together we could all decide a day that works for all of us? Sometimes weekends work for me and sometimes don't due to work....next question would someone host if it's a smaller group or would we figure out a public place that could host it with a few tables big enough for board games?

Sounds like fun. I don't know if places like Forbidden Flavours or Firehouse have boardgames, but we can always bring our own.

Maybe I'll call local coffee shops and see if a time and date can be arranged. Anyone interested in maybe Thursday evening? pm me if you'd like to come and if certain days and times work out flr you.

Interesting how the original poster here mentioned the location to meet and to play the games but the thread has gone a complete different way. Read the original post again and it is so easy to figure out. You are putting way to much work into figuring out something that had already been done... lol.
Sounds like a fun time. I have never been to the board game cafe but I have heard it is good.

Are no good for me. I work uper early.

Fri. or Sat evenings is best for me but Sat and Sun afternoons I could as well.

If it happens that any meets are when I am free, cool. But if not I totally understand that everyone will never have the same availability.

It's "I Want That Stuff-Boardgame Empire" . There is a Facebook page for the business. There is a group of people that have game nights already for those who play Magic The Gathering etc.

Like it could be a fun time. Is there a way to find out times that people are gathering? I work predominantly Sunday through till Thursday nights. So Friday and Saturday are best for me.

Try calling the store to see what events are already in place and what times. There is currently people on Fridays that get together and play (maybe that is something that may interest you).
