Access to the south side is limited by the amount of snow. The easiest access is from the Belleview Road (RD 150 W), that will allow you to go onto the ice at the mouth of the Pipestone Creek. RD 150 can be accessed from either #2 highway east of Pipestone (town)or #1 highway east of Virden. Pipestone Creek bridge is where you turn east off the Belleview Road to get to the creek mouth.
