Are you not able to get any from the city landfill? I though a while back i read residents were able to take compost. Try giving them a call.

I think you can get it from the landfill (my husband grabbed some once). Would not recommend it, had so many weeds, chunks of unknown material etc I personally would not use it again but maybe others have had better luck with it?

yes you can get it from the dump, right at the entrance, first come first serve. We just got some the other day.
