Good morning everyone!!!!! I need help y’all.... I’ve always wanted to remove our dirty carpet in my bedroom since we moved here into our house 3 years ago and to our living room , change it to vinyl flooring, hardwood floors or engineered hardwood flooring, looking for reasonable price place who can do it any recommendations and advise are welcome. I did it myself, not knowing what I was doing and it came out fine. I spent a fair amount of time understanding the laminate and then choosing what was best for my situation. Prices are all over the map.  
 
Go into HD and look at all the different prices and then ask "Why?". A little knowledge goes a long way.

A little off topic but we bought our 2011-built home last yr & there's hand-scraped laminate on about half of the floors. We really like it. Have a big dog, 3 cats and it shows no marks from (dog) claws, etc. Previous home had some hardwood that didn't stand up as well. Easy to mop up too.  
Friend complains about "regular" laminate showing the dusts/marks all the time. If we were to build, would choose this flooring again.
