There is lots that can be involved with having issues with high speed, that does not always mean the provider.
I have Bell MTS as well, and I am lucky to live in an area where I get up to 100 Mbps download (hardwired). Now keep in mind, this is up to speeds, as companies cannot guarentee your speeds because of everything that could interfere with those speeds.
My PS4s are both hardwired in and I get between 83-108 Mbps dowbload on them during speed tests. My PS3s are wireless, but I do not care about their speeds as they are the kids, and they dont pay for the internet, I do. My sons laptop though, is pushing 5 years old, running an older system, and his laptop on wifi does not get very good speeds. He also has his laptop junked up with programs, images, etc, which also slows everything down, including the internet.
Also where you live can play into things as well. Are you in a house or apartment? Do you have the right gateway system for your address (one is better for houses that have less "traffic" on the systems, where as one is bettter for apartments and the "traffic" as mentioned above in another post). Also take a look at your speeds that you subscribe to, as internet has become very needed over theblast year and a half. Customers believe that their 25 Mbps speed that use to work great for the odd btowsing and occasinal Netflix, but now with having 2 kids home schooling, and working from home, and not allowed the leave the house, more devices are being used at the same time, 25 Mbps speed will no longer cut it, and will need to upgrade (and this is regardless of your provider, this should be friggen common sense).
Also, because I am not technical, i would call tech supoort to do a hard reset on the gateway, and also ask if there is a different gateway you can upgrade to.
