Hi everyone,  
 
I have been shopping online for along time on ebay and amazon, been waiting on stuff that has not come in the mail. Is there anything going on china, never really had a problem. Either that, having issues with whom ever is deliverying Canada post parcels.  
 
Also have no tracking info so I don't know when it will be in only projected time

Seller was a scammer, who spent multiple days faking good reviews. Item never sent, no tracking number given. Report it to EBAY, they will investigate and refund. Sorry to hear, but you were taken.

I too have been waiting almost 2 months from product from China. I contacted the seller and they said that they were having some issues with transferring from china post to Canada post. Told me to wait one more week for parcel. If not arrived by then, then they will give full refund.

I have never had a problem before now. I recently purchased on amazon from a seller I have purchased from before (in China). This was in November. Had a tracking number but then it just disappeared beginning of January. The seller contacted the post office where she is and it went missing somewhere en route. A new one has been re-sent but I haven't gotten it yet.

I have two items shat shipped in Dec from China - estimated delivery was Feb 14 and still have not received. It usually does take a loooong time when you order from there as I've come to learn

I waited 2 1/2 months, but it finally came.

I have tons of stuff I ordered from China. I too have never ever had an issue until now. I ordered a bunch of stuff in November/December and a lot of stuff not coming in. Most places giving a refund but a few wanting me to keep waiting. Very frustrating

Maybe this is behind some of the delay.  
 
Chinese New Year: Standard public holiday for (Mainland) Chinese is the 7 days from Chinese New Year's Eve to day 6 of the lunar calendar new year (January 27 – February 2, 2017).  
I am waiting for 2 items, & was warned they would take longer due to the holiday.

It's Canada Post & or Customs that is to blame because the stuff gets here in a week or two from China and sits in Canada for months.

I have noticed it is taking about 3-4 weeks longer than usual but so far I have still received all the items ordered. Just taking longer

I order from china all the time, sometimes comes in 2 weeks but can take more than 2 months. Lately it's been 2 months or more. Any packages I've tracked from China Post lately get to canada customs within a week and then sit there forever so it's an issue with customs or the handoff to canada post.

I have multiple items that were not delivered this year.  
 
I have placed over 150 orders over the last few years and this is the first time I have not received all of my items. I have about 8-10 that have required a request for a refund

i only order from ebay, and have had different results. Ill say always look at the comments, ive noticed bad tracking usually results in item never coming. Ive had 2 orders so far in the last year ive had to request refund, and had my money fully refunded. Funny thing is i just got a package ive been refunded for that was expected in december lol .... anybody in Brandon collect g1 transformers ? i have a extra snarl

I ordered stuff from Amazon originating from China in November, expected arrival time mid December. It still hasn't showed up. I thought it might be because of the holiday season, so I wasn't concerned. I emailed the seller mid January who said it was probably held up at customs. At that time, they sent another package, which I have still not arrived. Hoping to have my Christmas sweaters before next Christmas. Guess we'll wait and see.

An order I placed on November 29th that I have already received a refund for just arrived today.

In my experience, when goods take a long time to arrive it is mostly due to a Chinese holiday and or shipping methods used. Considering the Chinese New Year just passed that would have an influence on the arrival time of your goods.  
 
Additionally, shipping via certain couriers in China is done by ground, which when coming from remote villages takes a really long time, so adding the holidays to that causes a even longer wait time.

I just looked it up. I have 185 orders on my account since I opened it a few years ago. I have had 10 orders not received over the past few months. I currently have 2 refund requests and waiting on 18 more orders. This is the longest I have waited for items. The longest wait was 1.5 months and now it's gone to 2-3 months if you get the item at all!

I always thought ebay was safe to make orders. Or perhaps I got confused with paypal payments.

I order from Aliexpress often and I ordered a lot of stuff the beginning of November. I'm just getting some of them now. Two items have been refunded. The others will probably arrive in March. So I find waiting two months is quick. I'm waiting four. Usually it's only six weeks

There may be a bottleneck at Customs as they are now examining small mail items that used to be let go by. Fentanyl and especially Carfentanil is what they are looking for. It used to be that Customs didn't look at packages under 30 grams, but they may be doing it now (especially things coming from China). That would slow everything down to a snail's pace.

Delay is in Canada. I have been getting items slowly. Have stuff on order since late Oct and early November just arriving

I had the same problem with 2 different sellers and i think is a customs Problem,  
because the seller claim resend the item in 2 different times before gave me the refund

I finally got a package I ordered in mid December. Most likely inspecting more small packets from the far east.

I had two Amazon orders that hadn't arrived by the designated date. I contacted Amazon, got a refund for both and eventually both packages arrived, which I kept. Ordered some stuff through AliExpress and had the first thing arrive ahead of schedule. They definitely don't guarantee as speedy a delivery as Amazon.

I was just given a refund when mine never came from Amazon within the 4 week time period given. Guess it may still come or it is lost. In the past my stuff came and on the earlier side of the range.

I know Ebay has a claim policy if an item does not arrive on time. There are a few scammers in China and the rule of thumb is you should contact the seller as soon as the delivery date expires as Ebay's money back policy starts 30days from the delivery date expiry. Also smaller items for some strange reason take 3 months (90days)to Canada. If there is a tracking number then when it arrives in Ottawa it will take 7 working days to reach you. The reason for most delays are customs checks both in the country of origin and the destination country.
