Winnipeg family shocked by funeral home experience

While I feel much compassion for this family and their alleged treatment, it does behoove us to read the fine print and above all else, ask questions. I do realize that in the time of grief, it's not always possible to completely understand what you're reading or being told. I think it would be prudent to always take someone who is not quite as emotionally attached with you to help with the arrangements. I truly hope they didn't just 'hand his remains' to her in a plastic bag.. that would be tacky
