Global Warming

I've been watching a lot about the Global Warming report being released later this week and it's scaring the crap out of me.
It's going to happen very quickly (as in 40 years as opposed to the 400 that I expected) and there are all kinds of things that go along with it. Pine Beetles are destroying the Canadian forests in BC and heading across the prairies.
Honey bees are dying, and they fertilize 1/3 of the world's fruits/vegs. The weather.......... scary...
What kind of world are we leaving for our children? We've been so stupid to think that we could pollute our world like this and not have any effects.
It makes me sick just thinking about it.....
