Budget comment

I am glad to see that the Budget has not spent any more money on windmills: it seems to be a way to say we are saving the environment. The provincial government would like you to think this, but in reality windmills have a lot of disadvantages, for instance they do not produce electricity with out wind, this is most winter nights, they do not produce electricity when there is too much wind, this is most days. The hydro network requires a constant electricity flow, where does the required electricity come from when the windmills are stalled. I am told the windmills at St. Leon only produce electricity for 40% of the day, and only have a maximum generation for11% of the time. ACC is quite right to train engineers in this field because windmills require high maintenance. Windmills cannot be built near residences because they produce a high pitch buzz that is annoying to the ear. I have also read where environmentalists have complained of the high loss of wildlife that is killed by the windmill blades, which are supposed to travel at 500 miles per hour at the tip.
