As the story unfolds, it is to my understanding that the school division now wants to check out the resources of a balanced school day. This is when the children have a 45m break in the morning with a nutrtional snack and healthy active time and then in the afternoon another scheduled break and this means no lunch hour for our children and those cannot come home for lunch. They seem to think that maybe children will have better learning attention in schools and less bvehaviour problems. If you ask me I think that one good reason is that children are bored and need to be challenged more even if it means more homework for the teachers. it seems that the really good teachers are few and far between and now adays it is all about the money and less for our children which are the future of our tomorrow.
