I am curious is anyone else has this condition. Meralgia paresthetica is a condition characterized by tingling, numbness and burning pain in the outer part of your thigh. The condition is caused by compression of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, which supplies sensation to your upper leg.  
 
If so what do you do for treatment? Any pain relief?

Yes! I did have it and it lasted 6 months before it finally went away. Mine was caused by childbirth and the position I was compressing that nerve. It slowly started getting better and the doctor essentially told me there wasn't a whole lot I could do about it. The pain slowly went away but the numbness lasted the 6 months (give or take). I did put one of those heated flax bags on when it would get really sore. My pain kind of got better then worse over that time. Good luck! It's the weirdest sensation and really freaked me out but did go away!

I had Jill do Acupuncture on my leg. I had Meralgia paresthetica and after a few treatments it helped amazingly I would highly recommend her.

I have tried Jill at natural wellness in the past. Maybe I need to go a few more times. I didn’t find much relief after that but maybe I needed to go more often. I also wear a heavy belt for work so I’m not sure if that is contributing to this issue.

Yes i went about 5 or 6 times and it was great for me. What a relief to be rid of that pain.
