I knew before marriage I had PCOS - very irregular cycles. If I didn't want kids, life like that was sure easy, when it came to monthlies. No monthly cycle, no PMS, no worries. Then I got married, and we wanted kids. Husband would have happily waited, but I said because of the PCOS, we shouldn't. So we stopped using BC when we got married. Tried for a year. Nothing. Went to Dr in Brandon, tried with just clomid for a while, with gradually higher and higher does that made me crazy hormonal woman (who had NO experience dealing with that, BTW), still nothing. Had the full ultrasound routine, was referred to Heartland in WPG, had a laparoscopy, don't know if Dr did ovarian drilling during it, or flushed tubes? Ended up on Metformin and Clomid together, and finally conceived. Had our lovely son 4 days after our 4th anniversary. Wanted to try for another a couple years later, went to family dr to get pres:cription refills, assuming the same would be needed everytime. Found out I was already 3 months pregnant! After she arrived, we didn't prevent anything because we knew we still wanted another, ... 22 months later we had our second daughter. 6 years later, found out, SURPRISE! You're having one more. I guess once my ovaries went through the initial tutorial and found out what they were for they got the hang of things. Not stressing anymore about my fertility probably helped too! It's the most treatable form of infertility - and medical science can truly work wonders these days! Have faith! Your turn will come soon, and you'll never sleep well again either, lol
