Looking at getting a fitness tracker. Had one ages ago and bought a cheap one.. loved it until it broke 6 months later. So obviously looking to get something that will last longer. Definitely need fitness tracker but also want sleep tracker as well. I have and iPhone. Looking to get back on track with weight management and need something to get motivated.  
Spent some time looking at fitbits tonight in the store. Do you have one? Pros? Cons?

I have a Alta Like it. Also looking at the Versa I believe. Don’t get to hung up about sleep. You don’t need a Fitbit to tell you how you sleep.

the Versa and LOVE it. I chose it because it is waterproof. I wear it at Aquasize, the lake, hottub and in the shower. Don't have to worry about it getting wet. I do recommend if you get it to get the screen protector and the guard. I ordered mine off Amazon for cheap but they are worth saving the screen as if you bump it or scratch the screen it would suck!

I have an Alta and I love it, but I wish I had bought one that counted stairs as well!

Also if you are pushing a cart/ baby stroller things like that it doesn’t count steps. Because your hand is usually staying put.

So far and omg versa is phenomenal! Their best product yet. The charger is great, the battery life is great, waterproof, everything. And yes it does count steps if you are pushing a stroller.

I liked Fitbit but had trouble with the straps falling apart. As long as it was under warranty they were good to deal with. However once the year was up they pretty much told me to shove it and would do nothing. I noticed one of my co-workers Fitbit is falling apart in exactly the same place as it did both times for me. So wasn’t just normal wear and tear in my opinion. After the second strap did the same I didn’t buy another. My spouse is using the iconic and seems happy with it. It seems big to me but he felt the versa looked a lot like the Apple Watch. I have been using an apple watch since last Christmas.

How do you like the Apple Watch? Which series do you have?

I really like it. Much better than my Fitbit. I wear it everyday and the band still looks brand new. It’s a softer material and doesn’t bother my wrist either. Mine is aluminum 38 with a fog band.
