Physio - Nerve Damage
1/6/2019 at 6:48 PM
I’m looking for recommendations for a physiotherapist in town to work with in regards to nerve damage due to Spina Bifida occulta.
Basically looking to work with someone on stretching, strengthening hips, lower legs ankles and feet. Due to muscle weakness some muscles are being used in excess/impotently leaving with muscles tightness and soreness. Stretches, exercises, manual therapy, stimulation......... anything and everything to help maintain and improve the muscle function I do have.
In addition would be looking to work on improving walking and running gait, better functioning in general to adapt to weakness etc.
Just looking for someone who can help me do the best with the muscle function I have and make what improvements I can.
Might sound simple but I’ve been disappointed in town so far. If anyone has good recommendations for someone with experience in this area please share.
Thanks
