There are a few places in Brandon that do couples/ marriage counselling. There are also a few different ways to go about it. Ideally, IMO, each person has an individual counsellor, and then they see a third one together. That way, nobody can accuse the other's counsellor as being on 'their side' in couples counselling. But not everyone is able to do that, or feels that is the best way to go about it.
Roberta Graham and Marsha Harris are both Registered Marriage and Family Therapists (they both work in private practice), and both have Masters degrees in Marriage and Family Counselling.
Don and Leanne Beaudin are a husband and wife team who have a Christian based counselling service, and both have Masters of Arts in Counselling degrees.
I have known people/ clients/ friends who have had good experiences with all of the above.
There is also The Counselling Center and Foster's Common Unity. I'm not sure whether either or both of those places currently offer marriage/ couples counselling or not. But again I have known people who have had good experiences with individual counselling at those places as well.
Mental Health Services in the Town Center does not offer marriage/ couples counselling, but does provide individual counselling which is free of charge.
Hope that helps!
