First time this has happened( I know gross topic )I horked up a phlegm ball with blood is it cause for concern ? I did some research .

Any discharge of blood out of anywhere should be cause for concern I'd say.

Seek additional help at a clinic. If you have coughed a lot and very hard you may have ruptured some blood vessels in you lungs. This wasn't serious for me according to the doctor, but it could be another option what happened.

Why do people go on public forums and ask random non-medical people for medical advice?
Like Adam said, either call Health Links or talk to/ see a medical professional.

.....they are worried or concerned, just a answer would have been nice, like Adam said a clinic would be best with this but no need to be rude....

I had this happen to me a few months back and ended up having pneumonia. Hopefully this isn’t the same case for you. Best of luck
