The Province is reporting 4 new COVID-19 cases in today's update, the Manitoba total now being 250 between confirmed and probable cases.
The regional breakdown shows 12 cases in the Prairie Mountain Health region, 11 confirmed and 1 probable. These are the same numbers as yesterday.
New public health orders were announced, to come into effect tomorrow:
- Anyone returning to Manitoba from another province is required to self-isolate for 14 days
- Travel will be restricted to Northern Manitoba communities (North of the 53rd parallel)
It was also announced that testing criteria has been expanded to include:
-all symptomatic workers or volunteers at workplaces that have been identified as essential services
-any symptomatic person who lives with a health-care worker, first responder or worker in a congregate setting such as a correctional facility, shelter, long-term care or residential facility."
