    EI during Covid 19

    Wasnt sure where to post this so here it is..Does anyone know who your employer is to contact at the EI offices if they have to send a letter regarding if you are still unable to get hrs. due to Covid after your EI runs out..

    Who said they have to send a letter? Just apply for the CERB. In believe it’s for people whose EI has run out and can’t return to work because of Covid.

    The person who told you that you needed a letter should have told you where to send it. Did you request a call from service canada? I would do it again and ask them. But I've never heard of anyone needing a letter.  
     
    Technically you're eligible for cerb just because you'll have exhausted your EI benefits. Did you get laid off? I would think that the ROE is enough proof.

    called is incorrect. if you were on regular/sick benefits and wanting to switch you go to your cra and apply and make sure you tick off the choice that you were on ei and it ran out...theres nothing else to do
