BRANDON:
Total cases: 322 (+2)
Active cases: 72 (-30)
Recoveries: 250 (+32)
Deaths: 0 (no change)
7-day new case average calculates as: 1.86 (+0.15)*
PRAIRIE MOUNTAIN HEALTH REGION:
Total cases: 489 (+4)
Active: 96 (-70)
Recoveries: 318 (+74)
Deaths: 1 (no change)
Current Hospitalizations: 4 (no change)
7-day new case average calculates as: 2.71(+0.42)*
Compared to yesterday, these are the differences in case breakdown by age group in differentiating provincial data released yesterday vs today:
40-49: 1 female
30-39: 1 female, 1 male
20-29: 2 female
10-19: minus 1 female
In Manitoba as a whole, the province is reporting 15 new cases of COVID-19 and a five-day test positivity rate of 1.4%.
From today’s Provincial bulletin, note this paragraph regarding a potential local exposure:
“Public health officials are advising of a potential exposure to COVID-19 that may have occurred on Sept. 1 at the GRMC Vision Centre, 20-144 6th St., Brandon, between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. The exposure risk is low, but those who visited this location at this time are asked to monitor for symptoms”
