Did any one get through on the phone line today to book an appointment at one of the flu vaccination clinics. I’ve been calling all day and can only get the busy tone.

But the wait time was a joke. I started phoning at 9 and finally got through around 4. A friend started at 8:29 and finally got through around 1, by redialling every 30 seconds! Crazy.

Flu Clinic Phone Line

I redialed for 1 hour and 15 minutes this morning and was lucky to get an answer that quickly. Very frustrating though. The clerk said they were swamped with calls. In many areas there are no walk ins allowed. How are you supposed to make an appointment when no one answers the phone?

I started at 8:30 and almost two hours later I got through. I was using two different phones redialing constantly.

Guess I’ll try again. Last year I could
walk into the local pharmacy and get the flu shot but now we have to go to these clinics if we can even get through to make an appointment. I bet all the available appointments will be taken quickly too.

I was just in town at shoppers drug mart east end on victoria and was shopping. Saw that they had flu shots available. So registered and was in and out in 30 minutes.

Might have to do that because the PMH line is still busy

Was just speaking to an appointment person and they indicated more lines and staff are being made available to deal with the rush of calls. Be patient. They are doing their best.
