Ear Candling

Hoping to find a place in Brandon or area that does ear candling now that the Natural wellness centre is closed? I am not looking for opinions on how bad it is. I’ve had it done numerous times in the past with fantastic results.

I do not have suggestions as to where to get it done, however I do know that Two Farm Kids sells ear candles. Have a friend or someone give you a hand and diy while you look for an alternative?

I honestly do not like it (a lot of bad memories) I like to go to the clinic an and get my ears flushed,

my doctor suggested while in the shower, turn your head to the side and let the warm water flow into your ear. then turn your head and do the other side...and do the same

Caution with ear candling

I have read in many sites that ear candling is dangerous mostly can cause ear drum to rupture. I agree with previous post about turning head to the side in the shower and let the warm water rinse the ears out.

I see that Wal Mart also sells them and Hedley in the Shoppers Mall also sells them. You might want to call first to make sure.

Relatively painless. Eye dropper with hydrogen peroxide. Most painless way to clean out wax. Actually tickles as peroxide cuts through wax.
Couple drops in one ear. Keep head tilted. Peroxide works it’s way thru ear canal.

Accepted practice in the medical community for many years to use olive oil in the ears twice a day for about three days prior to flushing. If the build up is not bad enough to require flushing then after the three day treatment you can carefully use cue tips.
