Current wait time for mammograms?

Has anyone had to have a mammogram, after the doctor finding something suspicious, since Covid? What was the wait time like?

Feeling anxious about how long it will take.

If your MD/ NP orders a mammogram at the Brandon Hospital on a urgent basis, you should be able to get it within 2 weeks.

When the doctor finds something suspicious it has taken 2 days for me to be contacted by Mammogram dept and less than a week to get in! Super quick and as ‘wonderful’ of an experience as is possible!

The only holdup on getting a call within a week is the dr not actually sending the paperwork!! Call the booking office if concerned and waiting any longer than a week for sure. It’s up to the radiologist how urgent a request is. Your dr checking off urgent does not guarantee that it will be!!
