Your Majesty said "Regarding moms and dads taking kids shopping with them, we need to be mindful that there are those that have no choice. If that means others have to wait in line so be it. We all need to be patient, have some empathy and not make unnecessary judgements. "
Absolutely. Moreso than a parent with no other arrangements for the kids, I think prev poster was referring to cases with multiple adults taking up spots in a store together on an outing when suspect 99 times out of 100 there's another configuration that gets the trip done with less noses and mouths in the building. Folks will make the decision that's best for their personal circumstances and there's really nothing to be gained from passing judgement on any given situation so much as hope folks are doing their best to make sure it's necessary bodies in stores only.
Depending on the store, I've seen different policy already in place to try to best work within the 10% limit. One I just looked up is asking for one shopper per household and another not quite going that far and asking people to limit their shoppers per household.
