I am dealing with pain and my GP has said might be Fibromyalgia. From my internet search I do not think I fit the bill. I searched ebrandon and it has been a long time since it was brought up. There used to be a great doctor in Wawanesa according to a few, but that was over 10 years ago.  
 
Who do you see to help treat it?  
Is there support groups?  
Diet?

Doesn't fibromyalgia need to get diagnosed by a rheumatologist? Why doesn't your physician refer you if they suspect it? Did you ask them about confirming the diagnosis? If there's chronic pain, perhaps a visit to the pain clinic is Winnipeg is in order?  
 
As someone who deals with chronic health conditions and who has a daughter with chronic and significant diagnosises, it's important to advocate for yourself and ask questions. Don't just let them say, "Oh, it might be this" without having them explain what "this" is, how it's diagnosed, how it's treated, if you need to see specialists etc.  
 
I'm sorry you're dealing with pain. I have known people with fibromyalgia over the years and it's tough to manage. Hopefully you'll be able to work with your health team to get a proper diagnosis and health care management plan.

It is very difficult to diagnose an Autoimmune Disease. No simple test or obvious symptoms, as there are over 100 AI diseases. Fybro is only one. Problem with them all is they can resemble each other. We often get one but it is very common to acquire more, three is common.  
I do believe a Rheumy is a good referral for this but your M.D. needs to do this for you. Maybe they await your input?

Hi there, I have suffered for many years with "who knows what" aching and joint pain mainly. Diagnosis was unknown. I found drug free technology that has changed my life. It is a product that she sells, socks of some sort. Sells them as a 'fix' for many different 'who knows whats'.

Yes we are investigating more. however the way the world is currently it is hard to even get a in person appointment. My last Doctor appointments have been by phone that is why no real diagnosis.  
 
I was just looking for real life experiences from people who suffer pain how they manage it and who they see.  
 
I myself try many things. I do not wish to be on a ton of pills with side effects. would prefer to manage it differently.
