I gave it a go a couple of years ago. I paid for the year, and I think it was about $200.
I think your success depends on what your issues around food are. It's successful at getting you to eat more mindfully, but at its heart it is plain old calorie restriction. At the time I was late 30s and fairly active, and keeping me in 1400 calories a day was just ridiculous- I ended up quitting the program because there was just too much emphasis on restriction for me.
They also emphasize healthy eating, activity, and good choices. Foods are categorized into colors based on how calorically dense they are (but no allotment for health- both nuts and chips would be "red" foods).
It's worth a try if you have found other similar programs to be worthwhile. Ultimately what I have found works best for me is food logging, nothing else. Somehow having to write down that you ate a whole bag of chips makes it less likely to happen again.
