What are the alternatives in Brandon besides Fairview for a person with mid stage dementia?

There is more than one care home in Brandon. There are also other options available depending the progression of the disease.  
There is also a process (sometimes a long process) at getting into some of these facilities.  
There is no real answer to this question without more information.

There are many options depending on age and stage of the dementia/ type of dementia. It’s really something you need to talk to someone from PMH for panelling. They will help you with your questions.

I found very few options.  
 
And very few GOOD options.  
 
Even ones you first see and think not bad and then you talk to relatives with people there you find it is not good.  
 
Dementia seniors are on the high list of being taken advantage of and hurt. As they can’t tell anything about what is happening makes it worse. And make no mistake they know something bad happened they just can’t communicate it except in those rare moments of clarity they can have.  
 
Be careful with what you choose and monitor carefully after they are there.
