Hello,
I am wondering if someone could explain the process for getting my 7yr old daughter assessed for ADD? I am not really sure where to begin.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Talk to your child’s doctor. They will give you the correct referral to the appropriate pediatric specialists who will do the assessments and diagnosis.

School divisions have the resources for assessment and diagnosis (mental health workers, social workers, psychologist). You can call and speak with your child's teacher and/ or school principal, to see what the exact process is at your school.
