Without endorsing the previous post, I do recommend going to Super or Shoppers and getting their PC-branded herbal tea called Feeling Soothed. It has fennel, echinacea, peppermint and a couple other herbs.
While it won't heal you or anything like that, I found it helped calm my cough during (and mainly, after) my New Years bout of Covid. I went though 3 boxes of it in 2 week lol.
