Where to donate used glasses that are no longer needed.

Have seen the drop boxes for unused glasses at Eye Outfitters 9th & Richmond and Hakim on 18th, as well as Walmart and Superstore Vision Centres.

Lots of options

on 10th Street accepts donations of prescription glasses.

Grandmama is right as well. CNIB 354 - 10th Street takes them too.  
 
The Brandon Wheat City Lion's Club is the service club that has installed easy cardboard 'donate' eyeglasses boxes in so many places in Brandon that then get recycled for the less fortunate. Same with dropping at the CNIB (Cdn Institute for the Blind) on 10th.  
 
Good cause. Keeps them out of the landfill. I found few pair of old relics during spring cleaning of drawers and didn't want them to go into a garbage bag.
