Hi all. It looks like i might have to start this drug for Ulcerative Colitis. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with this drug? Was it effective for you? side effects? Out of pocket costs?(looks like about $2,300 every 8 weeks!) would appreciate anyone reaching out. Thank you

I can't speak to the experience, effectiveness and side effects of Stelara.  
 
I am currently on Humaria, a similar medication that costs about $1700 a month. With my blue cross, pharmacare and the drug company picking up a portion of the cost I'm usually out of pocket S500-800 a year.  
 
I would recommend talking to your doctor about applying for pharmacare, and any support programs that the drug company might offer.
