hutchster said "I have a J-315, that echo seems to have a better layout being 10" wider it looks like it could accommodate multiple people better than the J-315 that has 3 seats but only really seats 2 people, and the echo also seems to be setup for 15a 120v plugin as well.
I wasn't sure how well the 120v 15amp plugin would handle when it was really cold out but I get about a 2 degree temp drop over 20 minutes when its -25 or so (heater and jet pump can't run at same time on 15amp)
I'm not up on prices, but if its comparable to the J315 price wise, the echo looks like it has a more usable seating layout for more than 2 people.
The echo also appears to have deeper seats than my J-315, that's my biggest gripe with it, at 32" overall top to bottom my shoulders sit just above water line (granted I'm 6'6")
