wait for test results

in particular bone scans…I had a test ordered on the 23 /9/08 ( urgent) , test done on the 14/ 10/08 and here it is the 08/11/08 no results yet. I was told at one point 30 days: from the test to results, is the usual. At the time the bone scan req. was ordered the Dr. suggested I make an appt. to have the results in about 2 wks time, I guess that would have been a waste of time and money on my part and time on the Dr’s. I have been checking in with the walk-in once a week. Now I laugh cause I can see the funny side too ( sort of) picture this scenario, you go to the Dr and complain about the time it’s taking for the test results and he replies “ look on the bright side, it can’t be too serious ( no wait for here’s the punch line) if it was you’d be dead by now. HAhahaha!!
