Flu shots & health care workers.
The Brandon R.H.A. is doing everything it can to ensure health care staff is protected from the flu.
Recently, Canada's chief public health officer reported that many health care workers don't do enough to stop the spread of the disease.
There are no mandatory rules for them to get flu vaccinations, but C.E.O. Carmel Olsen says the Brandon RHA does an annual campaign blitz to make sure employees know the risks.
Immunizations are one of the most cost effective public health measures that save lives and prevent the spread of disease.
How can these people who care for sick people jeopardize the health of the patients
in their care. I also think they should not be paid if they take sick days when they catch the Flu.
