Conservative to debate the death of the Abortion procedure

A report published by the Canadian Press is saying that members of the Conservative party wish to open the Abortion debate.
It is a fact that in Canada the Fetus has no legal rights, in fact a Kidney has more rights than an unborn child.
Our dilemma as I see it is if we recognise a Fetus as a living human being, then how can we destroy it, but if a Fetus is recognised as an unwanted organism it is acceptable to destroy it for the good of Society in general.
Can we trust the Conservatives to do the right thing, and remain allowing women to make there own choices?
