Bloating help- for Women (maybe TMI for men ha)

I'm needing some advice pertaining to bloating. About a week or so before "that time of the month" I bloat really bad. To the point my pants do not fit. It can range from 5-10lbs and it comes on very fast, within about 2 days and it lasts about 2 weeks sometimes more. I exercise 3 times a week at 1-2 hours a pop, cardio and weight training. I eat well for the most part, avoid allot of salt. I do the daily Activia yogurt thing, I drink lots of water daily. I never over eat either. But as I get near that dreaded time it just pops up on me, I feel pretty darn yukky during that 2+ weeks. I think I lead a pretty healthy lifestyle for the most part. I've tried things that say they reduce water weight, none have worked. Any tips or hints you can give me? I have an app for my yearly physical coming up and plan on asking my doc. Figured it wouldn't hurt to ask what others have done to avoid this and find out what had worked for you.
