Would you deliberately allow yourself to get the swine flu in order to build up immunity to a possible stronger strain of the virus?  
 
That question has come up because of the recent "Pox Parties" trend. That's where parents take their kids to the home of a child who already has chicken pox - so their kids can be infected with the virus.  
 
Why would they do that? For whatever reasons, they either don't trust the chicken pox vaccine or they think the kids will develop a stronger immunity if they go through the full-blown chicken pox.  
 
Doctors are now worried that people have started having "swine flu parties" as a way to take immunity into their own hands.  
People who are considering deliberately getting the swine flu are worried that there wouldn't be enough vaccine if a stronger strain came around in the fall.  
 
Good idea or swine poo?
