food poisoning from a restaurant

I contacted the restaurant in Brandon and advised that 2 of my party of 4 were throwing up and had diarrhea and that the 2 of us had eaten the same thing. Also advised that 1 of us was sick enough to go to the ER. I also notified the health inspector. Call back from the health inspector within less than 4 hours who was headed right over to do an inspection. 36 hours later not even an apology call from the restaurant. Was I wrong to expect one? Should I be putting a stop payment on the credit card for the meals?
