I have a horrible sun burn and need some advice

I was out in the sun today for about 45 min to an hour and now my arms and neck are burnt to a crisp. I know I should have worn sunscreen but I only had enough to cover my kids. My skin is a cherry red to a blood red color and the skin on my arms is tightening up, burning and they hurt to move. I have tried lotion, aloe and tea bags. Does anyone have any other idea's on how sooth a terrible burn?
